Can I use a iMac as a monitor for my Xbox One I was just wondering whether anyone has tried using an iMac as a monitor (without using Target Display Mode) and whether it is possible for the Xbox One, if you do know how to do this please leave a comment on the post.

- It depends on what year your iMac is. I have a 2010 and I am able to, however after 2011 I believe the feature was cut. You will need a HDMI to Displayport cable and there is some key combination you hit on your keyboard of the iMac to turn it into a monitor but I forget what that is.

Your model is listed as only supporting thunderbolt in, but sometimes undocumented things work (like extra ram or refresh rates more than advertised.).
- Remote play uses the Xbox App to give you full control of your Xbox Series X or Series S console. And unlike streaming Game Pass, which you can’t use on Apple devices, you can use remote play on your iPhone or iPad. It bypasses Microsoft’s servers to create a direct connection to your console.
